Tuross Beach website redesign

Tuross Beach redesign preview

Tuross Beach Cabins is an accommodation and holiday park located on the south coast of Australia.

The client approached me to redesign their existing website, which had become visually outdated and difficult to navigate. The goal was to modernize the experience while improving content organization and creating a stronger focus on accommodation discovery and bookings.

Reviewing the existing website

Before starting the redesign, I reviewed the existing website to identify both usability and visual design issues.

Some of the main problems included:

  • weak visual hierarchy;
  • inconsistent layouts and spacing;
  • content-heavy pages that were difficult to scan;
  • limited emphasis on key booking actions;
  • an outdated visual style that no longer reflected the quality of the destination.

Redesign

The redesign focused on creating a clearer content structure, improving readability, and using photography more effectively throughout the experience.

Accommodation options, local attractions, guest reviews, and booking actions were reorganized into dedicated sections, making the website easier to explore while better showcasing the destination itself.

The updated visual language introduced a more modern look and feel while maintaining the relaxed coastal character of the brand.
