Wizmark is a bookmark management platform consisting of a web application and a browser extension.
The client approached me with the idea of creating an alternative to established bookmark managers such as Raindrop, centered around a more flexible card-based organization system.
Since the project was still at an early stage, the main objective was not to build a fully mature product but to quickly validate the core concept before investing significant resources into development.
The core concept
Unlike traditional bookmark managers that rely on rigid folder structures, the client wanted to explore a more flexible approach to organizing information.
The platform allowed users to create custom categories and organize bookmarks using movable card-based layouts. Instead of forcing a predefined hierarchy, the interface encouraged users to structure information in a way that matched their own workflow and mental model.
Key interactions included:
- creating and managing categories;
- organizing bookmarks through drag-and-drop;
- rearranging content without complex folder structures;
- managing multiple bookmarks through bulk actions.
The goal was to make bookmark organization feel more visual and adaptable while remaining familiar enough for everyday use.
